Frost Indicators

If ALL these conditions are present, a frost is likely:

1.  The air is calm.

2.  The temperature at sunset is cool.  (At or below 50 degrees)

3.  The sky is clear at night.

4.  The soil is cold and dry.

5.  The moon is new or full.

6.  The dew point is close to or below freezing.
