Hi I purchased two mums from a recent fundraising sale. The mums are beautiful and so huge. I do have two questions: Right now they are still in the plastic container purchased in but I am moving them to my two planters on my front porch. My question: How often do I need to water these plants? My purple is still very vibrant and beautiful blooms but my bronze has already lost all blooms. the stems look healthy but I have no blooms. I just purchased them on Sunday and they were watered. I did water both of them this morning. But for a regular schedule, how often? Will they have better luck in the ground vs a planter box?
